EBDC tem como objetivo reunir divulgadores profissionais de ciências de diversos campos para troca de experiências e discutir os objetivos da divulgação científica
O II Encontro Brasileiro de Divulgadores de Ciência (EBDC) será realizado entre 8 e 10 de setembro de 2023 no Instituto Principia, em São Paulo, sendo organizado pelo Blogs de Ciência da Unicamp, projeto de divulgação científica da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) e o Instituto Principia, instituição que promove diversas atividades de divulgação científica e colaboradores externos.
O encontro é um evento anual que reúne comunicadores de ciência, profissionais e amadores de diversas áreas para compartilhar suas experiências, discutir sobre os objetivos da profissão, elaborar estratégias para campanhas de comunicação eficientes e estimular colaborações entre a comunidade de divulgadores de ciência.
Nesta segunda edição, com o tema “Ciência, comunicação e política: motores de mudança na sociedade”, os participantes discutirão como os comunicadores de ciência podem influenciar a implementação de diversas políticas públicas em temas como: saúde, meio ambiente, desinformação, preconceito de gênero, entre outros.
O evento já conta com divulgadores, pesquisadores e comunicadores confirmados de múltiplas áreas e formações, buscando aliar não só diversas expertises mas também diferentes experiências, a lista pode ser consultada no link do evento.
As submissões para apresentação de trabalhos se iniciam em 15 de maio de 2023 e as inscrições para as vagas remanescentes em 17 de julho de 2023.
