LBV intensifica ações no combate à pobreza infantil
Você já ouviu falar que a vida pode mudar de uma hora para outra? Nessa infinidade de ações que podemos praticar em 60 segundos, a Legião da Boa Vontade (LBV) convida você a mudar a vida de uma criança ou de um jovem proveniente de uma comunidade fragilizada com uma simples palavra: SIM.
Ao manter em pleno funcionamento suas atividades, a LBV ajuda a mudar a realidade de milhares de meninas e meninos em situação de vulnerabilidade social, visto que há 32 milhões de crianças e adolescentes na pobreza no Brasil, de acordo com uma pesquisa do Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância (Unicef). Além disso, um estudo da Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Unifesp/2022) também revelou que o combate à pobreza durante a infância pode reduzir em quase um quarto (22,5%) o risco de um jovem cometer algum crime na juventude. De acordo com a pesquisa, o baixo poder de compra, bem como o baixo nível de educação do chefe de família e o acesso limitado aos serviços básicos foram fatores de risco apontados que podem ter significativo impacto no desenvolvimento humano.
